Series 125 relays occupy just 5 mm × 5 mm of board area, making them ideal for very high-density ATE switch matrices, PXI/LXI cards and multiplexers. The range delivers the smallest footprint for 2 Form A relays and now also for 1 Form A RF (coaxial), 1 Form B and 1 Form C variants, so you can maximise channel count without sacrificing instrumentation performance. Despite the compact package, Series 125 relays contain an internal diode.

Switch options

  • Type 1 (general-purpose, sputtered ruthenium): up to 20 W / 1 A with 12 V coils, or 15 W / 1 A with 3 V/5 V coils — best where higher power or inrush handling is needed.
  • Type 2 (low-level, sputtered ruthenium): 10 W / 0.5 A — ideal for low-current/low-voltage and cold-switching use in ATE.
  • Type 3 (changeover, rhodium): 2 W / 0.1 A — for compact 1 Form C (SPDT) routing.

These switches are the same instrumentation-grade elements used across established Pickering ranges, oriented vertically to achieve the Series 125 density.

Layout & connectivity
The device uses pins on a 3.5 mm square pitch. Compatible SMD and through-hole connectors from third parties allow stacking in rows or matrices on a 5 mm pitch.

Note: While socketing isn’t generally recommended (to maintain optimum contact resistance stability), we recognise some users may prefer sockets for serviceability.
